On Sunday
30th June, the first Shindo Kai grass roots competition was held at
Honeywell Sports Centre in Barnsley.
Attracting plenty of fighters across the local area, we knew it was a
competition not to be missed so we were especially excited when so many of our
students wanted to take part.
Choosing
from Kata or Kumite, upwards of 20 of our own students
aged 6 and above took their pick in the section they felt the most comfortable
to succeed in.
We are so proud to share the news that we came back with a haul of 11 medals
which included two silvers!
Everybody had a great day and we are confident that our students can build on
their success and use their newfound experience to propel their skills. Well
done everybody!
